How it works
HelloICD AI maps free-text clinical diagnoses to ICD-11 — using WHO’s classification plus AI-powered understanding of real clinic shorthand.
From diagnosis text to ICD-11
You bring the text clinicians already write. HelloICD cleans it, proposes ICD-11 codes, and flags cases that need a human look — so routine coding stays fast and uncertain cases stay visible.
1. Paste or upload
Use the Playground for a single note, or Batch coding for a CSV slice and confirm which column is diagnosis text — same start-row / max-rows pattern clinics already know.
2. Normalize clinic language
Abbreviations, typos, multi-diagnosis lines, and local notation are cleaned into segments ready for coding.
3. Match ICD-11
HelloICD searches WHO ICD-11 first. When the match is unclear, AI-powered ranking chooses among WHO results — grounded in the official classification, not invented codes.
4. Review when needed
Clear matches return quickly. Uncertain or flagged rows go to Review so a coder can accept, correct, or reject before data leaves your workflow.
Ways to use it
Playground
Try sample clinic cases or paste your own text and see ICD-11 proposals in seconds.
Batch coding
Run CSV slices for backfill or reporting cycles — credit-metered for Clinic plans.
Clinic API
Connect an EMR with API keys: submit jobs, poll status, download JSON or CSV results. See the API page for auth and endpoints.
Repeat diagnoses benefit from caching, so the same text does not redo expensive work on every run.
